Hi,

i have installed oracle 11g on rhel 5. that is succesfully completed but i am entering the sqlplus / as sysdba i face the one error
i.e error while loading shared libraries: libsqlplus.so : cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory.

Thanks a lot. Actually i tried it for 64 bit. It works.
Also include how to set xhost for oracle user. It would be helpful for newbies.

Ubuntu server non ha interfaccia grafica.
Puoi dare il comando sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop, ma oltre a gnome vengono installati una marea di programmi che non servono su un server.
Per installare uno gnome minimale dai il comando sudo apt-get install gnome-core xorg.
Per far partire l’interfaccia grafica dai il comando startx.

Hi,

(still alive ?)

im having a question …

i am running the ndb managment server and the mysql server one on the same server and the mysql server 2 on a second server.

if the server 1 (with mysql1 and mgmt server) crashes > there is data loss > what will append when i will restart the whole servers ?

the cluster system is only transmitting the queries ? isn’t it?
